Notice of Deregistration of CST-SA

The Board of the Cereal Science and Technology Association of South Africa (CST-SA) has resolved to proceed with the full and final deregistration of the Association.

This decision follows careful consideration of the sustainability of CST-SA and its role in the broader grain and cereal science sector. In line with our constitution and governance requirements, the necessary steps are being taken to conclude all formal processes.

As part of this process, CST-SA’s financial accounts will be closed, and the remaining funds transferred to the Southern African Grain Laboratory (SAGL), an independent, non-profit organisation that continues to serve the grain industry and has been mandated to apply the funds toward internships in cereal science and technology.

We wish to thank all members, partners, and stakeholders who have contributed to CST-SA over the years. Your support and commitment have been invaluable in advancing cereal science and technology in South Africa.
